The 2010 water season has begun. It will take several days for the water to travel from the Chandler Pump Station outside of Prosser and fill all 88 miles of the KID canal system. KID field crews will flush the system, remove debris and start up individual pump stations in accordance with the startup schedule. The KID website has a color-coded map of the District indicating which dates that each area will be brought into service; www.kid.org. All areas should be up and running by April 19th.
