The HOA would like to provide a clear update on the situation and offer some practical short-term solutions while we wait for full service. According to the Kennewick Irrigation District (KID), the delay has been due to a mechanical issue requiring the replacement of a pump that services our area. That pump replacement has now been completed. At this stage, the only remaining step before irrigation water can be restored is a required electrical inspection on that pump. This inspection is currently anticipated to be completed next week, after which service should resume shortly thereafter.
If using city water, it’s best to water less often but more deeply. This encourages stronger root growth and helps lawns better withstand heat and stress. Your HOA Team appreciates everyone’s patience as this issue is resolved. While the delay has been frustrating, progress is being made, and we expect irrigation service to return soon. We will continue to keep residents updated as soon as we receive confirmation from KID.
