During these busy final few last days before school starts and as summer winds down, the HOA board and I wanted to pass along a few brief items:

 

Suspicious Emails:

A sender calling itself “Applewood Hoa” with an unusual email address is distributing messages to a few of our homeowners with a link inside the email. As always, if you receive a suspicious email, delete it, don’t forward it and don’t click any of the links inside of it. The HOA’s email name is “Applewood Estates HOA” and address is applewood_hoa@hotmail.com. (Thank you for not considering this email suspicious and reading it!)

 

Fuji Way as Traffic Detour:

Unfortunately, yet understandably, the City of Richland is using Fuji Way as a detour while crews make emergency repairs after the water main break at the Keene Road Westcliffe Boulevard intersection on Wednesday. The Richland Police Department committed to increased police patrols for speeding.

The board would like to pass along its thank you to all of the homeowners that have submitted architectural project request forms these past few weeks. Insuring your project is approved protects you and helps maintain the consistent and high-quality appearance that makes Applewood a sought-after place to live. Thank you, too, to the volunteer members of the ACC who review the applications and walk the neighborhood to remind (and thank) homeowners about compliance issues.

 

Annual Picnic:

Please join your neighbors on Saturday, Sept. 14 at Gala Park (near Orchard Elementary) at 5:00 p.m. for the annual HOA-hosted barbecue. Country Gentlemen will provide tri-tip, chicken and side dishes. Just bring a dessert to share and a chair or blanket to sit on.
