Property Photos Postponed

In response to the HOA newsletter article titled "Curb Appeal Check & Photos", the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) will continue with periodic checks of properties and the community, but will postpone the photos. They will now be scheduled the week of September 23rd.
Some homeowners felt the photos were going to be taken for inspection of aesthetics and the middle of the summer was not the best time due to the heat stressing grass and landscape. However, we apologize and should have been more clear on the reason for taking photos of each property in Applewood Estates.
The photos will not be used for inspection of the aesthetics, but simply documentation of color and structure. The ACC and Board have relied on Google Maps or County Assessor photos in the event a color has changed or a new structure erected and those photos can be several years old.
The photos will be used as only a baseline and will not be shared with other homeowners or the public. In fact, if any homeowner would like to take their own photo of their property and send it to the HOA, that would be just fine.
Again, we apologize for any stress or inconvenience this may have caused any of our homeowners.
