Garbage/Yard/Recycle Container Policy

The Applewood Estates HOA recognizes that the subdivision participates in the City's waste and recycle programs for which containers are provided and picked up each week on a standard set day. The board has developed a policy to aid homeowners in defining uniform expectations and minimizing conflict with the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) regarding them.
Please note that containers may be put out no earlier than 12:00 pm the day before the pick-up date and must be put away no later than 12:00 pm the day following the pick-up date. This should give all homeowners plenty of time to get containers adequately screened or stored out of sight. Containers left in the street, driveways, or in front of a fence will constitute a violation. To read the entire policy and fine schedule, you can find it on the Document page or click HERE.
