Christmas Tree Collection & Recyclingâ€
Posted on Jan 3rd, 2016
The City of Richland will collect Christmas tree from your curb this week. Please remember that trees taller than 6' need to be cut in half.
Simply place your tree at the curb tomorrow with your trash collection grey can and the solid waste driver will note that it is there. Then, an alternative truck will pick up your tree within 36 hours. This means some trees will be out for a day or two but this is a small price to pay for the city to collect and recycle the trees for our homeowners.
Trees can also be brought directly to the Horn Rapids Landfill, 3102 Twin Bridges Road, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The landfill is closed on Sundays.
