The HOA has had some inquiries regarding the land just to the east of Applewood Estates.  These two tracks of land are designated commercial retail and located on the north and south side of Westcliffe Blvd just east of Brantingham Rd.  The owner who is Aqua Ventures LLC appear to be clearing the trees.

The HOA contacted the City of Richland and was advised they did not have any development permits issued for the property and they did not know if the owners had plans to develop the property.

 

The HOA did learn that the owners are under an order from the State Department of Agriculture to remove the fruit trees from the property in order to eliminate a bug infestation.  So the land clearing could simply be due to this order.

 

Your HOA will keep all homeowners updated if something changes with regarding this unused land.
