Team Battelle Fall Food Drive is Underway

Food bank needs have increased by 15% over the past year and is depending on even greater support from the community and Team Battelle this year. The food bank is buying more than $30,000 in additional food than they did three years ago to keep up with demand. Remember the food bank on your next trip to the grocery store or when you are clipping coupons (buy one and get one free). If you would like to contribute, please call Applewood Homeowner Hope Matthews (375-2501 or 628-9446) to request a donation pickup, or place canned food and miscellaneous needed items (diapers, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, shaving cream, etc.) on the front porch of 1397 Scarlet Place. Please, no glass jars or perishable items. The food drive will run until November 11. Thank you for your support!
