New School Named!

Orchard Elementary selected as name for new school
The Richland School Board voted unanimously tonight (Tuesday) to name the Richland School District’s tenth elementary school Orchard Elementary School. The school is currently under construction just south of Applewood Estates and will be open next August.
Orchard Elementary will be 71,000 square feet in size and house 714 students. CKJT Architects, Kennewick, is the architectural firm for the project. Fowler General Construction, Richland, is the general contractor.
On behalf of all the children in the south Richland area, the HOA would like to thank the Richland School District for their leadership in this project!
