Salvation Army Food Drive
Posted on Sep 7th, 2014
Applewood Homeowners,
Holiday kettles and bells. Thrift stores. These are the most common images people have of The Salvation Army. If you look a little further, you will find that they offer a diverse array of social service programs catering to the needs of children, families, seniors and individuals in our local community.
Their yearly food drive will be Wednesday, September 10th and Applewood Estates has been asked to share it with all of you. Homeowners who wish to participate can put food donations on their front porch between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Families will come by during that time and pick up the food donations and deliver them to the Salvation Army. Attached is a flier that explains the contents of the requests.
As always, thank you for reading and helping those in need.
Respectfully,
Tony Valdez, President
