Elementary School Boundaries

As most of you know, a new neighborhood elementary school is being built just south of Applewood Estates. It will be the Richland School District's 10th elementary school which will open next August. The Boundary Revisions Committee has been working since March to develop new elementary school boundaries. Boundary lines must be adjusted prior to the 2015-16 school year.
Applewood homeowners are invited to review the recommended option and give their feedback at a public input meeting on Thursday, September 11, 6:30 pm, at White Bluffs Elementary School. Feedback from the meeting will be passed on directly to the Richland School Board.
This neighborhood school will serve Applewood families and will support a sense of community and provide a ready mix of friends who live here. Your HOA board also knows there is a real connection between home values and the school's boundary so we will be attending the meeting. We also encourage you to attend.
