We have received complaints of strange solicitors in our development. Some young adults contacted homeowners after dark asking them to sign papers for points. Others had solicitors asking to clean their carpets for free. This is a time of the year when the Tri-Cities see an increase in burglaries and solicitors working without a business license so please be diligent and do not let them into your home, ask for their business license and call the police to have them checked out if you feel the contact was suspicious.
