Neighborhood Elementary School Design

Hi Neighbors & Friends of Applewood Estates,
We wanted to get you a first look at the neighborhood elementary school the Richland School District is developing (scroll down). It will be located between the Badger Mountain Ranch apartments and Brantingham Greens development. This is a fairly accurate rendering of the site. The bus loop is off of Brantingham and parent/student drop off is on Gala Way. The drawing is an east view perspective so imagine yourself standing on Brantingham Road looking to the west.
The architect tried to use a roof line with a pitch that would complement the homes and apartments nearby so it would blend better into the Brantingham Greens neighborhood. It is still in schematic design but moving towards design development which will show much more detail and landscaping. The school board will begin the process to name the school in the near future. The school is scheduled to open in August of 2015.
